Relief

No, you can not come in.

Not here.

The door shook

As I stood in front of it….

.

So I held it.

You know…

It.

Even though

I had been in the car for a long time…

And really had to go.

You know.

Go.

.

But I held it

And drove to a gas station.

.

But as I thought

About that bark and bluster…

And wondered

How many times have we said no you can’t come out

When they need to go,

You know…

To Go.

( we all need to learn to listen and respect each other)

(Not to mention, practice radical hospitality)
