Ben, the gentle

There He was, walking by the side of the road.

I saw Him before he saw me…

.

He turned around…

Our eyes met

And my heart melted.

I went to him,

He came to me.

softly wagging his tail

a ancient collar on with an old brass tag still attached

Gave me a name and a number.

.

(He had the biggest nose I had ever seen.

I wondered if he was part polar bear.)

The number dialed,

A voice answered.

Love returned again.

Always respect even the most temporary of romances…

They too help save the world.

While I enjoy all of your work, I particularly love the humor and simplicity in this!
