Crow

You are everywhere I go!

Some say I am a harbinger of death,

they have little faith –

My beak shows me to be a Generalist –

an opportunist?

I am an Enthusiast, an Adventurer – an Epicure!

    Did you ever see the documentary on crows on PBS? They are very smart!

      yes, crows are amazing creatures – My grandfather had a crow friend who greeted him each morning when he went to the barn, flew onto his shoulder often and ‘took the rounds’ of chores with him. Not a pet, a friend wild and free – they seemed to enjoy each others company – and the food 😉

  2. “Winged primates” was a phrase from that PBS “Nature” documentary that really stuck with me.

    The crows in Japan that weave nests from telephone and high-tension wire got my attention!!!
