standing still
a small red bird on the roof reminds me that even as i stand still, the earth rotates the sun rotates and things change. even as i stand in the stillness that never changes.
puddles and rainbows
i can make rainbows from puddles! i forge the rivulets of rested rainstorms! i spill forth hope and all possibilities – Pray? Play! who is to argue this is not sacred?

daily practice

Flock
a flock of shadows flies across the the grass in front of my footsteps. I look up, but the brightness hides the truth of their wings. Even without a cave, i am shackled, yet led to share the story.
