i can make rainbows from puddles! i forge the rivulets of rested rainstorms! i spill forth hope and all possibilities – Pray? Play! who is to argue this is not sacred?

daily practice

observations
two egrets beside the library steps – you watch us enter in search of knowledge or respite or relief. “We have no need to enter there. Our stories are written in the wind, in the water, and in your heart.”
Second glances
Dog and Cat about the same size, why act like mortal enemies? Together at the water bowl, you have moments that teach us the possibilities of thirst and circles.
Flock
a flock of shadows flies across the the grass in front of my footsteps. I look up, but the brightness hides the truth of their wings. Even without a cave, i am shackled, yet led to share the story.
Shirt sleeve gratitudes
I would give you the shirt of my back, but i think you would rather have some of my popcorn. whatever you give, give with gratitude.
