How many smiles have you been given in your lifetime?
Think of them as Joy seeds,
Remember them and they grow,
And bloom.
How many smiles have you planted ?

How many smiles have you been given in your lifetime?
Think of them as Joy seeds,
Remember them and they grow,
And bloom.
How many smiles have you planted ?

He poured Himself into my lap,
And I poured out my heart.

All you seem to do is destroy,
Eating your way through fence and beam…
Yet, you are called a carpenter ant,
What are you building?

You live here,
Rent free,
Taking my stuff…
Shredding paper and sock….
What more do you want?
.
Your Heart.
Oh that?
You stole that long ago,
Never gonna let you go!
Me either.

Climb.
Sing.
Eat the flowers.

She ran Her own race,
Through a field of purple flowers.
Running to Her own beautiful rhythms,
listening to Her heart.

The littlest cat
When missing
When the largest dog came to call.
.
Two days passed.
.
And then,
I looked up,
And there under the eaves on the roof of the porch
Perched
The littlest cat.
.
Gentle calls, and a tin of food
And she was inside again.
.
A reminder,
Look up!
Come down.
Eat.

The branches on the lemon tree are green.
The lemons are green.
The leaves are ever.
.
A young anole, green,
Stopped on the branch for a brief conversation
With a small green caterpillar….
You are not my food,
You are not my food!
.
The world is new and ripening,
The world is ever green.

The gentle bear snoozed softly by my feet.
What, she’s a dog, you say?
You did not see her eat berries today!

I opened the lid to the trash;
The startled the occupants leapt everywhere.
One brave enlightened soul simply sat on the rim,
For I was not a threat,
Just a surprise!
.
May your days be filled with unexpected joys
And tiny helpers teaching you
The arts of transformation and balance.
