Sometimes
You need to play outside of the box.
It is not your size,
Or the size of your dreams,
But the freedom to dream them in peace
That is the hope of beings everywhere .
May all beings know peace.
From morning til night,
reflected the light.
Shine bright.
I went to church today
The dome was brilliant blue
The water holy
And the pelican passed by
accepting communion,
As did i,
For all was You.
The yard was filled with chickens
And the odd duck…
On the road,
Sitting in traffic
Behind a trailer
Containing a small Florida cracker steer
standing, gazing about, alert and relaxed…
We seemed to catch each other’s eye…
Where are you going this solstice night?
He moved aside,
Revealing a smaller young donkey.
Ah, I said…
You, like I am, a minister
And we are both scheduled for services.

The moon is full,
The night is long,
And hope is renewed in the coming dawn.
Oh little pointy eared puppy,
The fur on your chest makes a fluffy heart!
A reminder of where we all must start
When we begin to train,
To name and explain,
To raise You up with Love.
And so it is with all beings,
Including our own inner puppies….
He used to be my pocket panther,
Now he surfs the countertops,
Seeking nibbles of kibbles
Then leaps into my lap,
And overflows it!
Next he jumps out the door,
Taking my heart with Him every time!
This is a dog named Squirrel.
I wonder if somewhere there is a squirrel named Dog…

We all share the same surname.

The Christmas goose has arrived
On the lawn
From Canada
And She shall not be cooked.
