He has but one eye,
But it is big enough to see
The whole world
With love.
Buddhas are like that.

Don’t be afraid to check out every box…
For it is in seeking that we find…
Don’t be afraid to pull others along the path,
It is up to them to hold on or let go.

They call it agility,
A sport,
Where your dog must make contacts with every obstacle in the path.
Such is life.
We run, jump, climb…
We race.
May we all be as joyful as our dogs.

At the table beside me
Sat a golden monkey dog
Filled with hope.

Across the ancient bricks
A tale to full to tell
Scampers.
A gatherer if possibilities
With a tail telling of balance and joy
Scampers.
.
Then a pause.
.
With tiny paws,
We
Reach for nourishment.

In the anticipation of love
And belonging
We sit by the door of possibilities.
Unaware of the Love that has our backs.

Hey cat!
Did you know that
If you just sat
In my chair long enough
I would return?
And you were right,
I did –
Thus it is with all meditation.
We wait for each other,
And again and again we show up.
