Accessibility

In the basement of a former library

That was built when matters of accessibility

Were more draconian than only the stairs to the entrance

Which are draconian,

And dramatic

And many

And steep.

A little dog

Chases a little mouse

Under a small chest of drawers…

Tiny feet gain access into dark places for safety

In a space where once upon a time larger feet longed to learn.

………

Protect access,

Physically….

Protect access

To knowledge as well.
