On the road

May 9th

The dog with the broken tail

Wagged joyously

And

Showed me her empty belly

Stitched and healing

Her puppies now weaned and headed north to new homes

May 10th

The room was dark

I thought I was alone,

And then I heard You!

Meowing to remind me,

I am never alone,

neither are You.

May 11th

The sound was deafening

Echoing throughout the room,

Oh!

There you are

In the corner of the window.

How can someone so small

Be so LOUD?

May 12th

You smell.

Really

Really

Bad.

Yes

I still love you.

But

You need a bath.

Baptisms have practical as well as spiritual purposes…
