Mine


The guinea hen puffed up and hunkered down,

To be very clear,

The pumpkin patch was hers.

The bright yellow blossoms argued mightily,

For they knew that without them, there would be no pumpkins.

The dog took no notice of the dispute,

And simply tilted his head,

And lifted his leg on the apple tree.
