tiny moment

the oak trees are in bloom:

tassels of pale green cascade of the ends of twigs

festooned with Spanish moss,

yellow pollen covering everything.

in a tender moment, between the raindrops,

i see a tiny lady bug….

climbing up a tassel in the air,

right at my eye level…..

even if no one sees you are a flower,

BLOOM, you never know who might need to find shelter in your open petals.
