Big Fuzzy Blackness

big black fuzzy caterpillar

i awoke up in a dark mood,

and went outside.

there curled up at my feet

was a big fuzzy blackness –

busy eating purple flowers that the wind had blown into the ground –

a feast of royal colour – and perhaps flavor, if one is a caterpillar.

today’s blatant message?

All of life is feast, even the dark bits, if only i would be pay attention to the details.
