a tale of a tip

half tail feral mancat

a bloody broken tail tells a tale i can not tell –

oh proud warrior father!

We will try and rescue you!

Trapped in a cage,

(oh the irony of its name:’have a heart’)

with your damaged tail and your loud wail

you scream

unaware of salvation.

under you go into a chemical dream land,

to swift kind hands of veterinarians.

You now have a new tale to tell –

with a tipped ear and a docked tail –

You are a survivor.

as am i.

together let us rescue the world.

or at least a night’s sleep.
