blackberries and lay overs

At Maggie’s Herb Farm,

 looking for time/thyme

i pass by a blackberry bush,

curved stalks

bright green leaves

filled with hope and possibility.

dragonfly at maggies herb farm

  amid the herbs

and impending fruitions

rested a brilliant blue dragonfly –

transparent wings shimmering rainbows.

my flight is booked.

i find the thyme/time,

and sit down too.
