I step outside to the smell of ripening lemons.
I seek the source and in the shadows under a leaf I find a companion …
One hiding from the rain,
The other of us, hiding in it.
And the lemons silently release their scent.
I step outside to the smell of ripening lemons.

One hiding from the rain,

And the lemons silently release their scent.
Bugle your truth,
And wake me up!
With such deep love in your eyes,
How can I refuse You anything!
( well, not my chocolate bar, I can refuse you that, not out of selfishness, but out of love)
( ok so it was a hallway)
And as they passed,
For just. A moment.
They reached out to each other…
And do not hiss.
Sometimes peace is only a passing moment…
Cherish the path where you find it.

Amidst the talk of salvation and savior,
Of duty and praise…
And a longing for the eternity of days,
One of true royalty silently enters the conversation speaking only truth.
We are transformed by friendship and love.
Big boomings boomed,
And streaks of lightening burst through the night.
And then the rain began to fall.
Under the desk, a small bundle of fur climbs on the top of my feet…
I looked down and our eyes meet.
Lack of understanding is so very very scary,
And sometimes nothing in the world feels safe…
But it is.
And All will be well.
I passed a field of goats.
Grazing as I gazed as I passed,
Both on our paths…
All of us here. Now.
