Staring at me sitting in the water.

Suddenly she launches

Onto my inhospitable lap.

I shriek .

She leaps

Out as quickly as she jumped in…

And settles down onto my empty pants lying on the floor….

Giving new meaning to

Finding comfort in an empty lap…

Look before you leap,

But if you find yourself in hot water,

Jump out quickly!
