It poured.
and created huge puddles.
Poodles like puddles.
and they are generous, they bring them inside to share!
I give thanks for poodles, and puddles – one fills my heart, the other fills the aquifer!

Clouds darken. Thunder rolls.
Big soft body, smiling at the stranger.
Rain pouring down?
No matter, we have a tennis ball!
I am grateful for Rottweilers and rain.
Hundreds of baby frogs lead the way,
Who knew such abundance was waiting for me this day!
Were they just waiting for me to take the first step?
I step carefully and am grateful for many small miracles.
Copying Coos and Repeating Hellos,
screeches, cries and meaningful sighs –
in true freedom of speech I can say anything
and so can you.
I am grateful for listening
and finding the echo in my heart.
I change in a puddle,
On this longest day, I am aware of the sun and the shade
and I am aware of my puddle evaporating.
I am so grateful for the sun and the shade and my watery home.
Will I evolve in time?
You can loose your tail, but not your head.
One will grow back, the other – you’re dead.
I am grateful for small lizards who re:MIND me, continuously.
I am grateful for seahorses and sea ponies.
What you don’t see ponies?
Take some vinegar and honey and call me love.
I give thanks for fathers
and those that spring off!
