size matters.

I am too small for you to hide behind.

and my heart is too big for you to ignore.

Petals

Release what you don’t need.

What is essential remains.

Who knows who may come to feed?

Way.

Oh, Deer!

I think we went the wrong way.

Really?

Perhaps, like me,

you just need to graze.

PIck it up!

I am not a rat with wings.

You leave your trash for me,

and I do the best to recycle it.

but I can not use most of it……

and what’s the matter with rats anyway?

Crawling

Crabs at the edge of the river,

in the river,

on the bank,

busy busy busy!

Unseen, a dog watches,

wise enough to keep his nose out of their busy-ness.

(I am traveling.

With brush and phone, I will post and attempt to chronicle my encounters of the ministries of animals.  Rev. Lizzie.)

Two red-headed woodpeckers dash past me.

SEE! Did you see?

Come!  Follow your love.

Fly.

build

a web.

hoot.

An Owl in the Oak

silently swooped over the fence

and was gone,

taking my sleep to some distant meadow.

Eyes wide open,

I saw it go.

Eaten.

Dragonriders come to my rescue.

Swooping in they capture the foe, their meal.

Thus I am not the food of their food.

Friend or foe?

Dragonfly and mosquito.

All is food

for thought.
