drumming a beat,
a small band plays
on the tree
beside
me.
I am grateful for the rhythm of life.
Wood you join me!
drumming a beat,
a small band plays
on the tree
beside
me.
I am grateful for the rhythm of life.
Wood you join me!
Suddenly, a skink is on the fabric, watching me sew…..
I wonder what he is doing?
Does he wonder what I am doing?
Perhaps,
but I doubt he wonders where I or he came from…..
at the moment,
it is not really important.
Angels watch us from angles unknown.
We are unaware they care.
Yet, we are called to care for them.
Listen.
Squirrel something away, they say.
Who are they anyway?
This is a beautiful day,
go out on a limb and enjoy it.
Bless you!
Now can I have that cookie?
It’s the moon you say,
no way, it’s so close, closer than Texas!
All is love.
Driving down the highway,
I see joy and trouble ahead.
How happy she looks.
Like she could jump for joy.
My heart leaps.
I pray she doesn’t.
For I am the car behind her and she is in the back of a pick up truck.
I wish I could follow her and keep her safe. I can not. In my vehicles everyone wears a seat belt. How ’bout you?
