They sing there is a river of birds in migration
a nation
is transformed
peace eagle has come to roost.
Racing
flying
surrounded by invisible friends
and kind hearts.
me too.
i am grateful
for all my friends.
thank you for listening.
some days all you can do is watch.
never underestimate the power of bearing witness.
pocket pets
don’t live in pockets
really,
even if they travel that way occasionally.
My natural habitat is not a pocketbook –
I am not an accessory.
but I can be
your
friend.
and i do like staying with you –
so please don’t change me when the fashion
i wanted to see the big wild world,
but i got scared and hid.
And still
YOU
found me!
the bees and butterflies
are all aflutter
sipping truth
from the bottle brush tree.
there are not bottles to brush
the messages have no words
still
they all speak of You.
