On the road
Enlighten ethical actions .
Observe with Love.
How do you know I am a service dog?
Here.
it has been a long hot day
in the long hot sun
but the only thing that truly melts,
is my heart
when i see You.
that moment
when you realize
you are breathing together
in the same
rhythm
and you know
everything is going to be alright.
they have names.
because we name them.
stars.
fireworks.
furred friends.
do they name us?
maybe not.
we all get scared.
what matters when we fall apart is that we are all a part of Love.
we all get scared.
the question is:
How fast do we recovery?
the view from behind the sofa tonite
is one of dietary peace,
although today was no piece of cake….
a cone for one, now a donut for two –
healing is always fashionable,
even with dietary restrictions.
what you can not hear are the purrs.
nor can you see the calico cat
across their laps,
just happy we are all together.
i heard a song this morning,
bright and clear…

and
LOUD!
at first i couldn’t tell where it was coming from –
and then i found
You!
the moon is full,
and up above,
the Goddess of Love is dancing with Jove.
and on the stump where the oak tree stood,
a purr is found –
reminding me that Love is all around.
today i met
the dog with the longest ears in the state.
she had even been taken to a contest,
just to prove it.
She was lovely.
i could listen to her for a long time,
even though my ears are quite short –
well, by comparison.
Listen with your heart.
