Punk Rock Angel?
No! I am Pegasus!
declared the poodle by his costume cut
of blue mohawked mane and matching tail –
flightless wings gently carved into fur –
i am a hero!
(even if i smell like kool-aid)
Naw,…..You’re an angel.
she said as she stroked his blue halo.
How could you not know where I was?
I was here all along!
She fell asleep on my chest.
Her heart over mine –
beating different rhythms,
we still kept time.
so i saw two ladybugs on a leaf –
making more ladybugs, i presumed…
one flew away, and one lady stayed.
sometimes a name
gives an indication of gender.
but it doesn’t always –
and it doesn’t matter.
What matters is Love.

new construction is underway.
My new neighbors inspire fear in many…. the gossip is waspish –

they also eat mosquitoes!
