we do not have to see eye to eye
to stand side by side.
they say that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush,
but what if there are two in the bush,
right in front of you –
knee high?
oh nothing is worth more than a duet of love!
I could listen to You sing all day!
As i sit here and heal,
my teacher arrives:
Watch and purr.
and pray.
you are mending, it will all be ok!
in the mist and fog of an awakening dream,
all is silent.
no dogs bark.
and
i see You.
beside me on a pillow
a small snore reminds me….
dream.
on soft grey rainy days,
when we feel boxed into a corner,
sometimes we all need
soft grey naps.
and sweet dreams.
yes, today i fell down,
in a parking lot –
right on my face, wrists and my knees….
no i was not embarrassed, i was pleased
i had not squashed the little dog in the soft carrier –
people ran over to see if i was ok,
the little one popped out and when to visit a little girl in pink pigtails.
It was then i heard Your laughter.
or was it mine…
speak words of Love,
gently,
to all beings.
sometimes the trouble is not that things are to hard,
but that you have underestimated
how far you can go!
