somedays the simple act of putting one paw in front of the other
is simply
exhausting.
.
(but oh the dreams!)
as i try to transform my thoughts into words
i am temporarily blinded by a veil of orange
that kisses my face and flutters on…..
and i see transformation splashed everywhere.
flutter on.
somedays the veil between the world is so thin,
it’s hard to say which side you’re in.
what we give value to,
says more about us, than the actual value of our objects of desire….
what we say matters,
but not as much as how we act.
venturing out this morning,
the world covered with dew,
i saw the web of life above me –
glistening in the sun.
The rain fell,
And I folded …

A drop, and then another. And soon a puddle becomes a pond…..
But,as they say and it is true,
Raindrops roll off a duck’s back…..
So fold yourself a paper hat and head on out into the storm……
It will be ok.
it always seem quite profound
that the rain is falling all around.
it is at the front door and the back…
the blue above is now quite black!
not a single window pane is dry….
how does all this fall from the sky?
is it like a human’s cry?
they get so full they overflow –
as above so below.
out of the corner of my eye
i see Her bow,
but cannot see to who
She is bowing too –
.
is it to You?
captivated by a guinea pig named Blue. i remembered a thing or two….
sometimes the best thing,
sometimes the only thing,
is to be with You.
.
even if You are very small, and blue.
named not after the goddess, but the shoe,
by a boy who liked to run.
Nike, the beagle, ran.
as did the boy, now man…
both became lost,
yet, perhaps the goddess was looking out for them anyway –
too tightly laced onto the souls of their being –
for both came safely home…
One runs here, on water,
the other, now, on Mt. Olympus.
