hoot.

An Owl in the Oak   silently swooped over the fence and was gone, taking my sleep to some distant meadow. Eyes wide open, I saw it go.

Eaten.

Dragonriders come to my rescue. Swooping in they capture the foe, their meal. Thus I am not the food of their food. Friend or foe? Dragonfly and mosquito. All is food for thought.
