dark and wet

it was not night

but things got dark

and the sky began to crack

with a sound so loud it drown out the pleas of the furred purred ones.

then the heavens started to weep –

in anger and pain,

or sympathy?

who knows – but at the door

four eyes glowed…

please

let us in.

we are soaked with the tears of sky,

so i did.

.

( there was really no need to be sooo melodramatic, i said….

tell that to the weather said the cats)
