before me on the table is a vase of dead flowers,
i ponder them,
there life gone, their color too –
i ponder them and think of You…
i take take them out – stems wet and soggy –
and suddenly
out pops a froggy!
.
Life renews itself, in spite of my morbidity –
in ways beyond my petty grief or expectations.
Oh little amphibian – what joy You bring!
There is Unity in everything!
