i meditate to find the logic of life

and find a logo for this ministry of mine…

but all reason eludes me as i try to elucidate the symbols for signage and letterhead…..

i want to lie down with the lion and the lamb –

but all that fills my visions are mice,

and paws with thorns…..

nary a crown in site….

and then i remember –

we are the story telling animal!

and all relationships are sacred –

we know this from many sacred texts

as well as stories told again and again

around the fires of every new year.

all our relations and all our relatives –

aho mitakuye oyasin

and so it is…

we save each other again and again…

with gratitude, and atonement

we place paw in hand

and gnaw each other free from the captor’s nets

by seeing each other in Indra’s.
