the crop of kittens and cats

of poodles and paps

is almost ready to harvest…

as we lie in the unmown grass,

i think about the grains of early harvest times,

of the sowing of seeds

and hopes and dreams.

and i am grateful for the moment of peace

as i too, graze on Grace under the blue sky

with my gathering of friendship.
