splat

ink splat cat

he lies at my feet in a puddle,

and has never learned to purr –

he is as black as the darkest night

and he is covered in velvet fur ..

i love my big back ink splat cat. and that is that.

i do not need to reach to the stars,

or into the old dusty books –

i can touch with my toes

how love grows,

by proximity and Grace.
