Lions, lambs and long nights

i don’t know anything about lying down with a lion,

even though you call me the lamb of dog —

poodle and tiger

but i do sleep with a tiger –

at least its a start.

sweet solstice dreams,

it’s a long night!

or a long day –

depending on where you are laying your head –

either way the world in spinning –

may it spin toward peace.

  1. And in the sweet but sour combining of species,
    The succulent submission
Of one single toward a superior
    Can one find supplication?
    Or super-superiority —
    Either way,
    Do we all suppose
    That sleeping soundly
    With something we should
    Simply Send to the Sun,
Should supersede our own second nature,
    And Sit in Judgement over
    Second Sight?

    So, Surely does Every Single
    Sir or Lady
Sup at the Table of Expediency,

    Simply to Discover
    Where Our Simple Choices
    Will Send us Soon…..
