ocelots are arboreal,

but we are cutting down their trees,

and stories about of domestic cats climbing to safety in pines and oaks,

only to be rescued by fire departments in small towns everywhere.

thank heavens not all cats who climb in trees

need to be rescues by firefighters.

some need to be rescued by us…..

even if they live in Belize….
