I am not your rescue or your child.

I am your companion and your friend –

I am a part of your family that will never end – after I die, I will live in your heart,

the memories of me – never will part –

but please take ownership and give me my rights!

Take ownership of all that you do and say,

in the night and the day.

We all need more ownership of all that we do –

or I can not be free, and neither can you.
